Computer configuration
VRmaze relies on SteamVR software to communicate with the virtual reality headset connected to the computer.
It is necessary to install Steam to have access to the SteamVR software.

Oculus Headsets
To enable the use of Oculus brand headsets, the installation of the Oculus software is required. The Oculus software can be installed at this address

Using the HTC Vive type headset requires the installation of the Vive Setup software available at this address

Virtual reality headsets require specific computer configurations. Each headset has its own characteristics and constraints, so it is imperative to ensure that the computer is compatible with Oculus or HTC software.

Room Setup
Each helmet has its own room setup system, it is a matter of referring to the documentation of each helmet to allow its configuration.
Support for room setup
VRmaze supports room setup and will display virtual walls as the subject approaches the area boundaries.
Finalizing the installation
Once the necessary software package for each virtual reality headset is installed, it is normally available in SteamVR. However, it is necessary to launch the manufacturer's applications for each headset in order to establish communication with the headset from SteamVR:
- Oculus application for Oculus headsets.
- Vive application for HTC headsets.
