"Protocols" dashboard

The "Protocols" dashboard is used to manage the protocols database. This database is not modifiable and is updated automatically according to available pack updates.

The "Protocols" dashboard.

The dashboard offers a list of available protocols with no functionality other than to inform and document the operator about the test content

Data filter

Data can be filtered by entering text in the filter box above the list.

When a protocol is selected from the list, all its information is displayed in a large text box. A protocol may have a link to a more comprehensive information page on the Internet.

In addition to this information function, two other functions are available, enabling you to :

  • Run a test with the selected protocol.
  • View the results of all subjects who have run this test.

Dynamic properties

Unlike VRmaze Research, in VRmaze Lite a protocol cannot be modified. This poses problems for device addressing (IP address, Bluetooth identifier, COM UART port, etc.). The operator must be able to enter data specific to his hardware for a given protocol. This is why VRmaze Lite offers dynamic properties.

Certain protocol properties (the list of which is chosen by the designer and cannot be modified) are displayed in the "Dynamic properties" box, leaving the operator free to enter the parameters they wish.
