Working with trial type

This page shows how to associate a type with a given test.

Using a trial type

The main use of the trial type is to be able to score trial sets by type within the same experiment.

Use in filters

More rarely type declarations can be used in filters (those offering evoked potentials for example).

Declaration of the type of experiment

In a very simple way, it is possible to associate a trial type to any given trial. As this is a custom attribute, it is necessary to go to the attributes of the selected trial to add the attribute "Trial Declaration type" to it.

Once added, the custom attribute allows the input of a type as an integer. It thus makes it possible to distinguish, in scoring, between trials.

A test type declaration should be added when designing the experiment. However, adding it is possible later, but much more restrictive on a large set of result files.

Multiple declaration

It is possible to add multiple statements on a single trial. When scoring, the trial will be included if one of these declaration attributes matches the constraints of the score.
