Opening a result file from an older version
Results files created in version 2021 (or earlier) may have problems opening in later versions (from version 2023.0.0.0). Binary recording of datasets poses a problem, as time accuracy is improved in version 2023, making binary reading incompatible.
If, when opening the result file in version 2023, an Xml read error message is displayed, the result file must be converted.
Since reading the binary format is incompatible, the procedure is to open the file normally in the version of the software that wrote it.
The global menu includes a tool for converting all binary data into text.
After converting your file, simply save it and opening becomes possible in later versions.
File weight
Warning: converting the result file into purely textual data makes the file heavier in terms of weight, but also in terms of opening. A binary conversion tool is available to convert the result file back to binary.
