Recording webcam stream
MindDev offers the ability to record the webcam stream of the computer running the protocol.
Adding a Webcam Recorder
The webcam recording system is very simple and requires only a single entity. Likewise, the settings are straightforward, as you can only specify a prefix for the file name.
Recorded Webcam File Name
The recorded file name will include a suffix containing the recording date information.
Recorded Webcam File Extension
The video file extension is .mp4.
Replaying the Recorded Webcam Video
When opening a result protocol that contains a webcam recorder, a button allows you to replay the video using the media player associated with your operating system.
Webcam Recording Entity
The webcam recording entity is only available for protocol entities. It is not available for test or experimental entities.
